Easily Connect to Dental and Telemedicine Benefits Through Benefits Access
You can now connect to your HealthFlex dental and telemedicine accounts when logged in to benefitsaccess.org. Often referred to as single sign-on access, this feature is designed to make it easier for you to engage with your HealthFlex health and well-being benefits and information. Dental benefits are available for those who elected a dental plan. Telemedicine benefits are offered through MDLIVE and allow you to use your HealthFlex plan benefits to gain virtual access to medical and behavioral health professionals 24/7/365 from wherever you are. Decrease your time in a waiting room during cold and flu season or get access to a behavioral health professional in as little as a few days.
The first time you access Cigna dental or MDLIVE telemedicine from Benefit Access, you may need to login, but subsequent visits should not require you to enter your username and password.
Don’t forget you can also access other HealthFlex benefits through Benefits Access without a separate login, including: medical/behavioral health, pharmacy, health account, Blueprint for Wellness screenings, and Virgin Pulse.
Problems with single sign-on? It’s recommended that you clear your web browser’s cookies and cache. You may also need to open a new browser window.
Wespath Systems Updated for Benefit Payments
Form W-4P has been revised for federal income tax withholding for periodic payments that span at least 10 years (annuities, pensions, LifeStage Retirement Income payments and cash installments for 10 years or more).
As part of this update, Form W-4R was created for non-periodic and eligible rollover payments that span less than 10 years (partial/lump sum distributions, cash installments for less than 10 years, hardship withdrawals and required minimum distributions [RMDs]).
If you request a distribution or change tax withholding elections for existing benefits in Benefits Access, you’ll automatically be directed to the appropriate electronic form.
Already receiving benefits? You’ll continue to have federal income taxes withheld according to your tax elections on file—no action is needed on your part.
