Avoid a Higher 2024 Deductible in 2024—Here’s How!
It’s easy to avoid a higher HealthFlex deductible in 2024. Simply complete the Health Check questionnaire in Virgin Pulse by August 31. It’s confidential, easy to do, and only takes about 10 minutes to complete.
- After you log into your Virgin Pulse® account, select the “Health” tab and then choose “Health Check.”
- If you have a spouse who also is covered by HealthFlex, you both must take the Health Check to avoid a higher deductible.
To complete the Health Check, you must be enrolled in Virgin Pulse. If you or your covered spouse have not yet registered for Virgin Pulse, sign up here.
New Appointment? The EAP Can Help Smooth the Transition
The excitement and joy of a new appointment are often combined with uncertainty and stress. The confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can support you with:
- Childcare, elder care and pet care – The logistics of caring for others during the transition to a new appointment can be hard, especially if you’re new to the area. The EAP can help you find services for childcare, elder care and pet care in your area.
- General stress and anxiety – Moving to a new community can be stressful. The EAP can connect you with someone who can help. Whether you prefer to speak with someone virtually, in-person or via text, there’s an option that’s right for you.
- Finding community resources – Building a new social and support network in your community can make the transition easier. The EAP can help you find resources like sport or social leagues, libraries, continuing education resources, and civic opportunities to get involved.
- Support for your family – Everyone in your household can access the EAP for up to eight sessions per concern per year. If your spouse is adjusting to the move, or your teen is transitioning to a new school, the EAP is here for them, too.
Get Support Now: HealthFlex EAP participants can call 1-866-881-6800. You can also access the EAP online by logging into the Virgin Pulse app, clicking the Benefits tab, searching for Optum Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and clicking “Start Now.”
